Located on the banks of the Warnow River, a small brook running through
meadows and therefore having waters of drinking quality, and about
25 km south of Rostock, this camp site is set in almost unspoiled
countryside and boasts a central position that is unequalled in all
Mecklenburg County. From here it is just a 25 minute drive to the
beaches of the Baltic Sea.
The privately run camp is open throughout the year and provides the
full range of comforts one might expect. Almost half of its area is
wooded. The old stocks of pine trees let the light come through and
make fine plots for both caravans and tents. Sunny plots in the open
fields are also available. A small sandy beach alongside the river
invites young and old to bathe or splash around. In case you don't
want to do the cooking all the time, there are a comfortable restaurant
serving good plain food and a beer garden for you, too.

tours in all the north-German Hanseatic towns, with their historical
and architectural evidence of red brick Gothic everywhere, and
other tourist attractions. |

Sport & Recreation
The small beach invites young and old to swimming and splashing.
The river (water deep of 1.2 – 1.5 meters at the bank, 2-3 meters
in the middle) is perfect suitable for swimmers and nonswimmers. in
peak season swimming instructions for children by qualified instructor.
The river Warnow provides ideal angling grounds (licence needed).
For pleasure you can hire rowing boats, kayaks and canoes.
For enthusiastic horseman there are riding offers of a ranch 10 minutes
away by car.
In the 2005 season we offer a football/tennis/basketball/badminton area.
For the little ones we have an infant playground. A pirate ship is
planned for 2005.
